With less than a month from the most expensive gubernatorial race in United States history, Governor Bruce Rauner sat down with David Kahnweiler, Non-Executive Chairman of Colliers International Chicago to discuss his plans for his potential next term in office.  SIOR Chicago Chapter and AIRE  hosted the joint lunch event on September 25th with 255 attendees, 43 of which are SIORs.

Gov. Bruce Rauner told a crowd of Chicago-area commercial real estate bosses that their industry is “the canary in the coal mine” for the state’s economy, and that “if you guys are doing well, the state’s doing well.” “I want you guys just rolling in clover,” Rauner told the crowd.  “We want construction, development, companies moving in. So your success is Illinois’ success.”
